A vulnerability has been spotted in iPhones and iPads that makes them susceptible to fake app attack.
According to PC World, security researchers have discovered a bug in iPhones and iPads that allows attackers to install fake apps that take the place of legitimate ones.
Dubbed as "Masque Attack" by FireEye, a mobile security company based in California, the vulnerability lets attackers to gain access to personal information of users.
The vulnerability reportedly exists in iOS versions 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 8.0 and 8.1.1 beta.
