Members of the Union Cabinet extended birthday wishes to Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Sunday.
The ministers took to twitter to share their wishes.
"Heartiest Greetings to LS Speaker Smt. Sumitra Mahajan ji on her birthday.My best wishes for a long, healthy and prosperous life ahead," Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore tweeted.
"My heartfelt wishes for a long and healthy life of Lok Sabha speaker Shrimati Sumitra Mahajan ji on her birthday," Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power Piyush Goyal posted.
Meanwhile, Union Health Minister JP Nadda posted his message for Mahajan in Hindi, wishing her a long and healthy life.
A former union minister, Mahajan turned 71 on Sunday. She has represented the Indore constituency since 1989 and is the second woman to be elected as Lok Sabha Speaker.
