Cabinet ministers express condolence over Kalam's demise

Ministers of the Government of India have expressed their condolences over the death of former President of India, A.P. J Abdul Kalam.

Ananth Kumar, Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers, said:"With the passing away of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, India has lost a great visionary who ignited minds with his great intellect and also had the utmost compassion for and touched every Indian alike, young and old, rich and poor, haves and have-nots. He was the ideal President, Scientist and Thinker."

Narendra Singh, Minister Of Steel & Mines in his message said that in the passing away of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam' the country has lost not only a great scientist but a great personality, a great son of India. He said that Dr Kalam has left an indelible mark in the hearts of countrymen as a thinker, a writer, a leader and as the Missile Man of India.

"Every Indian alike, children, young, old, urban or rural, everyone loved him from the heart. The deep love, respect and affection for him will remain etched forever in the heart of everyone loving him. He will always remain in our hearts and his life will remain a source of inspiration to the millions of youth in the country. We pray to the Lord Almighty to rest his pious soul in peace." Tomar said

Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu , Minister of Railways , in his message, said: "Dr. Kalam was a great scientist, super patriot and people's President. All of us are proud of his superlative achievements. I was fortunate to work closely with him. In his death, we have lost a great son of India. He will ever be remembered for his contributions to the nation.
