Morocco has been officially ousted from hosting the 2015 African Cup of Nations due to its concerns over the Ebola outbreak elsewhere on the continent.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) had rejected Morocco's request to postpone the tournament to 2016. Morocco had been given a deadline to decide whether or not it would host the tournament. However, the new host for the tournament, which is scheduled to be held from 17 January to 8 February, would be confirmed today, The BBC reported.
The qualification matches would be played as scheduled on 14 and 15 November to decide which 15 teams would join the new host nation for the finals.
