The Calcutta High Court on Monday formed a three-member committee to probe the Narada controversial tapes.
A division bench of the High Court announced the decision while hearing a batch of PILs on the controversial tapes.
The bench directed that the committee will comprise of a CBI officer, one police officer of the rank of Inspector General and another court appointed officer.
However, the names of these officers haven't been announced as yet.
The DGP of state police will depute an officer of IG rank, while the CBI officer will be deputed by DIG of CBI.
The committee will work under the supervision of the court.
The committee will go to Delhi and collect the tapes from Naradanews.com head Mathew Samuel, who was the author of the sting operations.

The whole process will be confidential, including the movement of the concerned officers. The custody will be decided once the evidences are brought to the court.
Narada News had earlier released three sets of videos of its sting operation, where top Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders were allegedly seen accepting bribes from journalists posing as businessmen.
