The chairman of King Digital, the firm that developed popular mobile game Candy Crush, has resigned, a report said.
Melvyn Morris said that he was stepping down from the post for "personal reasons." He will be replaced by board member Gerhard Florin, reported the BBC.
Chief Executive Officer Riccardo Zacconi said in a statement that the company would look forward to Morris joining the board in due course of time but stopped short of mentioning when that would be. He also welcomed Florin to his new position.
The firm's latest results showed that profits saw a 20% decline in the third quarter compared to last year.
