Congress leader Rashid Alvi on Monday said that he was not in a position to tell as to what formed the citeria for aspirants to get a BJP ticket.
While commenting on news appearing of singer-turned-politician Babul Supriyo claiming that he got a ticket to contest the Lok Sabha elections on the recommendation of Baba Ramdev, Alvi said, "What should I say, what was the criteria of the BJP to distribute party tickets, it is they who only can say."
BJP Asansol MP Babul Supriyo who is a popular singer wrote about how he got the BJP ticket in the first part of a two-part article which he is writing for the Sunday supplement of Bengali vernacular Ananda Bazar Patrika.
