"Hey Everyone!" Tom Holland's Spider-Man has finally made his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the final trailer for 'Captain America
Causing a meltdown in the comic book world on the social media, the new two-and-a-half minute clip that was released on Thursday closes with the much anticipated face-off between Chris Evans' Captain America and Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man.
The clip shows Captain America's shield getting suddenly snagged from his grasp by web-sling from above, while his hands get instantly bound together in a second volley. Spidey then flips into view, catches the shield and makes his introduction: "Hey everyone!"
Fans took to Twitter to share their views, with one saying: "damn spiderman looks f***ing ace in the new trailer tho (sic)."
One fan said, "I think the Internet just broke," which was retweeted by many Twitterers, while another excited fan simply posted "OMFG."
Reacting to some of the comments about Spidey, another added, "Hahaha... people complaining that Spider-Man is cheesy and cracking a joke...I truly don't think people know who Spider-Man is sometimes."
