Indian test skipper Virat Kohli on Sunday opined that captaincy in test matches is completely different from that in limited over matches.
"Test matches are a whole different ball-game all together because in a one-day or a T20 game, you need a very short span of planning, unlike Tests, where you need to plan for a whole day," Kohli said at a press conference here.
"If you are bowling for a day and a half, you need to plan for a day and a half and also need to manage your bowlers and accordingly manage the workload," he added.
Kohli also stressed on bringing consistency to the performance of the squad, adding that he had learn a lot about captaining the test side during the Indian tour of Australia earlier this year.
"I have learnt a lot captaining in Australia as to what we can do according to our strengths and focus on that primarily and that's why the first and the foremost thing that we wanted to do as a unit, was to improve in all aspects of the game," he said.
"Skills have really been good for a while and what we are looking forward is to bring consistency to our performance."

He also said that the inputs of guys like Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ishant Sharma, who are more experienced, would certainly help in recognising and planning according to their strengths.
India's tour of Bangladesh will start with the lone Test match, which starts on June 10 in Fatullah.
