A new study has found that a third of brides fall out with one or more bridesmaids after they get hitched because of resentments and rows that take place while planning the D-day.

The findings showed that jealousy, insecurities and financial issues surrounding the big day were the most common reasons for the split, the Daily Star reported.

While 32 per cent of newly married women said they no longer consider themselves friends with at least one of the women they chose as a bridesmaid, another 73 percent admitted that they had had an argument with their bridesmaids at some point in the lead up to the wedding.

George Charles, spokesperson for vouchercodespro.co.uk, said that the saying "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" seems especially true when her wedding is involved.
