As Scot tennis star Andy Murray finally ended his country's wait since 77 years to see a British Wimbledon champion, celebrities rushed to Twitter to express their happiness on the magnificent victory.
According to the Mirror, British Prime Minister David Cameron said it was a privilege to watch Andy Murray making history at Wimbledon and making Britain proud.
Victoria Beckham, who was sat in the royal box, tweeted a lovely picture of the big moment and congratulated Andy Murray, adding that she was proud to be British, the report said.
David Baddiel simply tweeted the word 'Wow' while Frankie Boyle tweeted that it was not a great game to be honest,' the report added.
The report also said that David Walliams had tweeted he was pleased for Andy Murray winning Wimbledon and suggested that Andy could be feeling much better.
Meanwhile, Alesha Dixon said that she was emotional and it was a deserved victory for Murray while Ellie Goulding gave out a singing tweet.
