Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Monday said that it is the result of Centre's faulty policies that the Jammu region which was once considered safe has now become unsafe.
Speaking to media, the Congress leader said, "The most disturbing fact is that attacks are now taking place in Jammu which had always been safe. Kashmir was unsafe and now this government has made Jammu unsafe too. If Centre is not being able to provide them security it means there is some fault with their policies," he said.
Earlier on Saturday, terrorists stormed the Sunjwan army camp in Jammu region, killing five security personnel and one civilian.
Four terrorists belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) were later gunned down by the security force after it launched a search and cordon operation in the area.
Earlier today, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) claimed the responsibility of the terror attack.
