The Urban Development Ministry will today review the progress in implementation of its various schemes in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh.
According to a press release issued by the ministry, Urban Development Secretary Rajiv Gauba will take stock of implementation of new urban missions Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), Smart City Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission in a meeting here.
The meeting will be held as a part of state-wise review being held by the Ministry of Urban Development.
Similar review meetings were earlier held in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Jaipur and Visakhapatnam. 20 cities in Haryana, 16 in Punjab and Chandigarh have been included in the AMRUT which is aimed at improving basic urban infrastructure.
