A new short film, 'Chalo Jeete Hain', invited a lot of praise from ministers after it was screened at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre on Tuesday.
Reportedly inspired by the early life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the trailer reveals the story of a young boy, who keeps on asking his parents and other people as to what it is that they live for after reading a phrase 'a winner is one who lives for others'.
President Ram Nath Kovind took to Twitter to praise the movie. He wrote,"#PresidentKovind watched the film Chalo Jeete Hain at a special screening at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre. Directed by Mangesh Hadawale, the film captures the theme of childhood and innocence, empathy and fraternity."
Union Ministers, who also watched the movie, took to their respective Twitter handles to praise the film.
While mentioning Prime Minister Modi in his tweet, Union Finance Minister Piyush Goyal wrote, "From childhood struggles and difficulties to the Jujhata lad, how to devote his life to others, let me https://youtu.be/4ys5ZC-SjR8 understand the film, @NarendraModi inspired by the Prime Minister's childhood struggles, this film is a life-telling direction.
Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad dubbed the movie extraordinarily. He tweeted, "Saw the movie #ChaloJeeteHain. A very emotional and effective portrayal of a young man born in poverty and deprivation and yet creates hope to live life for others. Extraordinary movie."
Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman wrote, "The official trailer of #ChaloJeeteHain leaves a sure impact. What positive impressions can do to a child in becoming an adult comes out beautifully. And the adult lives his life for others and not self. A cameo on @narendramodi 's childhood."

Praising the film, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Jagat Prakash Nadda said, "It was wonderful to watch #ChaloJeeteHain yesterday. The film is highly inspiring & gives us a very relevant message."
Helmed by Aanand L. Rai and Mahaveer Jain, the movie will release on July 29.
