Channing Tatum is eyeing a major role in Quentin Tarantino's 'The Hateful Eight.'
The Western epic project, which would begin filming early in 2015, also stars Samuel L Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, Deadline.com reported.
Tarantino has almost dropped the idea after the film's script was leaked.
According to distributor The Weinstein Co, the principal photography would be done on 65mm film, with the plan to have the widest 70mm film release in more than 20 years.
The movie is being produced by Richard Gladstein, Stacey Sher and Shannon McIntosh with Bob and Harvey Weinstein and G. Mac Brown. as executive producers.
