Kurt Sutter, the creator of Charlie Hunnam starrer 'Sons Of Anarchy,' has revealed that Hunnam had struggled with the decision to accept the role of the male protagonist in the bestselling erotic novel 'Fifty Shades Of Grey', because of all the hype around it.
During a chat with website Vulture, Sutter admitted that he and the hunky star had 'a couple of long creative conversations' to help Hunnam take a decision regarding the role, Metro.co.uk reported.
Sutter explained that there are predetermined expectations with the role and he advised Hunnam to ignore them and look at the potential of the movie.
Sutter told Hunnam to move forward with the role only if the material made sense.
Ultimately Hunnam took on the role for the right reasons, Sutter added.
