Cheetah Mobile has launched the lite version of the photo editing app PhotoGrid, which will act as a tool to fit the needs of Indian mobile users.
With key features distinguishing PhotoGrid Lite from its full version, the application installation package has been reduced to 13MB from 34MB, making it an ideal fit for phones with less storage capacity.
The popular photo collage app PhotoGrid has been given a spinoff and is designed specifically for the India market and PhotoGrid Lite runs much faster, works efficiently and provides the best user experience.
It is designed to bring a smoother and less-cluttered experience, with key highlights such as no network connection is required as well as extremely low battery consumption when running the app.
PhotoGrid is a key product for Cheetah Mobile in India and India consistently ranks as one of the top 6 performing countries for the app in terms of both its daily install and monthly usage rates.
"We at Cheetah Mobile will continue to invest in launching accessible and useful products catered specifically for this market and are confident that the app will be a huge success in India," Jill Shih, VP of Product and User Experience at Cheetah Mobile said.
