Premier League club Chelsea's players have claimed that manager Jose Mourinho is back to his best after being sent to the stands in the Premier League match against Cardiff City.
According to the Mirror, Mourinho's frustrations, aimed at his players, Cardiff's delaying tactics, assistant Steve Holland and finally referee Anthony Taylor, brought his first ordering from the dug-out since returning to SW6.
That Chelsea were already on their way to victory, after his tactical gamble on going three at the back paid off when Samuel Eto'o finally became the first Blues striker to score in the Premier League, only added to the new Mourinho legend, the report said.
Ryan Bertrand, a youth team member when Mourinho left in 2007, said that the old Mourinho spirit was back and when he was there earlier with Chelsea, what filtered through to the youth levels was that they never thought about losing.
He added that it was something that had been re-instilled in them now, in the training, the preparation and the attention to detail, giving them the confidence to go out and do what they have got to do.
Mourinho, dismissed only for leaving the technical area, will face no further punishment from the FA, the report added.
