Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh, who today presided over the 23rd meeting of the development authorities of Bastar and Surguja districts, said at least 350 villages will be electrified and road connectivity will be improved in the coming days.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Singh said that various important decisions were taken as to how the workers related to electrical and road projects in Bastar can be completed on priority.
"Besides, important decisions were taken pertaining to the LWE-affected seven states. It has been decided to electrify 5,600 villages. Besides, electrification will be done of 1080 villages, of which 80 percent fall under the LWE category, by the end of 2017," he added.
