Lok Janshakti leader Chirag Paswan on Wednesday took a dig at the Janata Parivar merger, terming it as an eventual 'wreck'.
Paswan accused the parties of foregoing their 'so called' ideologies and theories for the 'greed of power'. He called it an 'outcome' of the strong hold of the Modi-led NDA government.
"This (the merger) is a new beginning of their upcoming wreck. The party is created as an outcome of the strong hold that the NDA government is creating", said the son of Union Minister Ramvilas Paswan.
"This is an alliance which is out and out for power, everybody has compromised with their ideologies and the 'so called' theories that the parties believed in.
Had Jayprakash Narayan and Lohia been alive today, they would be very upset to see their disciples run after power," he added.
Mulayam Singh Yadav will head the new political front and will also act as its parliamentary head.
