Chris Brown was arrested on Friday and will be held without bail on a warrant issued by probation officials in his latest brush with law.
The warrant was issued by the judge overseeing the R 'n' B artist's case after he was informed on Friday morning that Brown had been discharged from rehab for not complying with rules and regulations of the program, Fox News reported.
According to Sheriff's officials, Brown was cooperative when he was arrested at a Malibu rehab facility where he was staying and transported to a downtown Los Angeles jail facility.
The 24-year-old singer had been ordered to remain in rehab for anger management treatment. A January letter from the facility had said earlier that he was also being treated for bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and past substance abuse.
His probation for the Rihanna assault was scheduled to end this year, but a judge revoked it last year after he was arrested on a misdemeanor assault charge in Washington, D.C.
