Chris Martin has begged Rihanna to let him write new songs for her next album, it has been revealed.
In a recent interview on American radio station Fresh 102.7/New York, the Coldplay frontman said that he did not even think the Barbadian singer asked her to do something for her album but he wanted to try something, the Mirror reported.
Martin asserted that the 'Umbrella' hit maker had so many incredible people writing for her bur getting a song on the Rihanna's album was like trying to win American Idol.
