Fox News's Chris Wallace and radio host, Mike Gallagher have apologized to Kelly Clarkson for making offensive comments on her body weight.
Wallace, 67, who faced public backlash, said that he sincerely regretted for his offensive comment targeted at the 32-year old pop star, where he had said "she could stay off the deep dish pizza for a little while," E! Online reported.
Gallagher, 54, too expressed remorse in a statement on his website, saying he felt too bad for "fat-shaming" the talented and classy entertainer and did a "really stupid thing."
The radio host had mocked the first 'American idol' winner, saying "Holy cow, did she blow up."
Wallace's own colleague, Greta Van Susteren, was outraged by his comments, and in a blog post had said that his and Gallagher's "guy snickering" about Clarkson's weight was "obnoxious," adding that they should apologize to her.
Meanwhile, Clarkson, newly mother to a 9-month-old baby, shared a post on Instagram, showing that she focused on what was truly important and near to her heart, which was 'The Clue Family Tournament.
