Christopher Nolan is all set to receive Art Directors Guild's Cinematic Imagery Award at the guild's 19th annual Excellence in Production Design Awards, it has been revealed.
The 'Inception' helmer is one of the creative forces behind a series of blockbusters, writing, producing and directing 'Interstellar', Deadline.com reported.
The guild said that the 44-year-old's director body of work reflected a clear appreciation for the contribution production design brings to the stories he brought to life.
The earlier recipients of the honor were Martin Scorsese, Warren Beatty, Clint Eastwood, Norman Jewison, John Lasseter, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Blake Edwards.
