Criminal Investigation Department (CID) bomb squad members on Friday defused over 100 crude bombs that were found in Kaliachok.
The bombs were found in a farmland besides a railway track in the area.
"The officers of Kaliachok police station arrived at the spot and with the help of bomb squad succeeded in difusing the bombs," said Malda Superintendent of Police Prasun Banerjee.
The police is investigating the matter.
