England coach Peter Moores said that recalled batsman Jonathan Trott has earned his right to be in the national squad, and will be focusing on the second Test against the West Indies in Grenada.
Trott, who didn't play for England since leaving the 2013-14 Ashes Tour prematurely because of a stress-related problem, earned his 50th Test cap in the first Test in Antigua and scored a mere four runs in two innings.
Trott, who was promoted up the order alongside captain Alastair Cook in the drawn first Test, delivered a strong performance on England Lions' tour of South Africa A, which prompted his recall to the Test fold.
Moores said that one doesn't change their opening partnership straight away on the basis of one performance as Trott has earned his right to be in the side by playing well for Warwickshire, then going to the Lions and getting runs out in South Africa, the BBC reported.
Moores further said that the right-handed batsman would go to Grenada and get used to the conditions and would be ready for the next Test.
The second match of the three-match Test series against West Indies will commence on Tuesday at National Cricket Stadium in Grenada.
