In the wake of Friday night's terror strikes in Paris, France, which claimed 129 lives and left hundreds more injured, music band Coldplay paid a touching tribute to victims and survivors through an acoustic performance based Beatle legend John Lennon's famous song 'Imagine.'

According to a sources, front man Chris Martin and the rest of the band were scheduled to perform songs from their upcoming album, 'A Head Full of Dreams', in Los Angeles. However, following the Paris tragedy, the band performed acoustic versions of some of their greatest hits, Us magazine reports.

Informing the people about the change, the band took to their website to write, "Tonight's live stream for TIDAL & KROQ has been postponed out of respect for the terrible events in Paris."

The post further read, "We'll play a short set of old material so that your journey isn't wasted. We send our love and prayers to the people of Paris."

The rock band 'Foo Fighters' also canceled the remainder of its European tour, while U2 called off their planned Paris HBO Live Special.
