Public Relations Officer of National Human Rights Commission (PRO NHRC) Jaimini Kumar Srivastav on Tuesday said that commission has issued orders to submit report on Bangalore school rape case within two weeks of time.
Srivastav exclusively told ANI, "The commission has issues notices to the Chief Secretary (CS), Directorate of Police of Karnataka (DoP) and as well as to the District Collector of Bangalore (DC) asking them to submit reports within two weeks."
On July 2, two gym instructors had allegedly raped the minor girl inside the premises of Bangalore's Vibgyor School when she had gone to the washroom out of which the skating instructor has been arrested.
After the incident came to light, angry parents vandalized the school premises demanding an explanation. They alleged that the school management was not addressing the issue with utmost urgency.
Residents of Bangalore have taken to streets to protest against the incident and a massive crowd gathered outside the police station demanding justice for the girl last week.
