A conflict victim from Taplejung filed a complaint against former king Gyanendra Shah and Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) through local peace committee of Jhapa.
The unnamed woman registered the complaint yesterday, saying she had not received relief till date and demanded justice.
She had received deep injuries on her thigh and knees during the Maoist insurgency, reports the Himalayan Times.
The woman reached the office of the local peace committee to file a complaint against various high ranking officials, including Gyanendra Shah and Prime Minister Oli.
She also registered a case against former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba as well as the then ministers Khum Bahadur Khadka and Purna Bahadur Khadka among others.
Meanwhile, an interaction on the disappeared people was held in the presence of TRC spokesperson Bishnu Pathak at Jhapa's Birtamode today.
Local Peace Committee chief Prabir Ghosh said the committee had received around 507 complaints, of which 28 were related to the people who disappeared during the conflict.
