Pakistan fast bowler Wahab Riaz has admitted that his blistering spell to Shane Watson during this year's World Cup quarterfinals has made him a different bowler.
The 30-year-old bowler said he has now become much confident of his capabilities and believes that he could perform even well in extremely difficult conditions, PakPassion.net reported.
Wahab, who received a lot of praise for his terrific spell, admitted that he had done a lot of work on his wrist position and his bowling has now become a bit more threatening.
The right-hand bowler, who has played 14 Tests and 63 ODIs so far, claimed eight wickets in the first two Tests of the ongoing three-match series against England.
Expressing his views on the visitors, Wahab said England played extremely well and added that the lower-order batsmen especially handled the situation pretty well.
Speaking about skipper Misbah-ul-Haq's retirement, Wahab said the former is the fittest player in the team and Pakistan has been going great under his captaincy.
