Congress leader Shobha Oza on Monday accused the Central Government and the Madhya Pradesh Government of trying to save those involved in the Vyapam scam by not ordering a CBI inquiry in to the matter.
"It is unfortunate that the Central Government and the state government are trying to save the few people by denying a CBI enquiry in the matter. They are trying to cover the whole issue to save the people who are involved in this big scam," said Oza.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had earlier today pointed out that the SIT that is investigating the Vyapam scam is not working under the Madhya Pradesh government but under the supervision of the (Madhya Pradesh) High Court.
"An SIT is investigating this. The SIT is not working under Madhya Pradesh government but under the supervision of High Court (Madhya Pradesh). Politics should be based on valid and reasonable issues," Singh told the media here.
