Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have been teaming up against him and his party.
"Congress party says that they are against Narendra Modi. If they are actually against him then why did Congress field a candidate there? They must withdraw him. My votes will get reduced. The votes will get divided. Narendra Modi is not a candidate of BJP, he is a joint candidate of both BJP and Congress. Rahul Gandhi is not Congress' candidate, he is the joint candidate of BJP and Congress," said Kejriwal.
"The BJP members are henchmen of Modi. They are attacking me alone, a Congress member or a Congress candidate has never been attacked. Why Narendra Modi's henchmen have never attacked convoy of Rahul Gandhi or Sonia Gandhi?" he asked.
"They have not even showed black flag against them. Why is it that here Congress henchmen always target only Kumar Vishwas? Why is it that Congress henchmen have never resorted to attack Narendra Modi? They never showed black flags to him. Their enmity is towards me. They have been running government jointly. We came and exposed them," he added.
Kejriwal also challenged Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi to take him on in a public debate, and also expressed confidence about Kumar Vishwas defeating the latter in elections to be held in the Amethi constituency.
