Taking a jibe at the Congress after a report published on the Bihar Government's official website said former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's regime was worse than the British raj. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secretary Shrikant Sharma on Monday said the grand old party now stands exposed at the hands of its alliance partner.
"Now, the news is being published on Congress Darshan and on the website of the Congress-allied government. So, the Congress must now understand that they stand fully exposed. This is the reality which is coming to the fore," he told ANI.
The official website of the Bihar Government has said that Indira Gandhi's rulewas worse than that of the British angering Congress, which is a constituent of ruling coalition.
The mention about "autocratic rule" of Indira and "oppression" perpetrated during the Emergency has been made in a write upon Bihar's history.
The Congress has, however, expressed its anger over the report and is likely to take up the matter with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
