Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader M. Venkaiah Naidu hit at the Congress saying it has not nominated any leader for the top post as they have no one to match the stature of BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Naidu slammed Congress for its false promises and accused the party members of indulging in dirty politics.
Speaking to mediapersons on Thursday in Bangalore, Naidu said the party was running away from the debate on the promises and performances.
"They are frustrated; the reason is Congressmen are frustrated. They don't have an answer to Narendra Modi, that is why all this is happening," said he.
The senior leader also pin-pointed on the failed promises of the party especially the passage of the bill for 33 percent reservation of women in parliament and the party's election manifesto promise of providing one-third reservation for women.
"You said that judicial reforms and promised courts in every village where is it? You said you will work on the security of Tamils and take effective steps and you will pressurize the Sri-Lankan government. One lakh thirty thousand Tamils were killed what have you done?," asked Naidu.
"You said safety and security of Tamils living in Sri-Lanka will be your priority. You said you will bring down prices in hundred days you have been in power for 10 years the prices of every commodity is going up," he added.
