Congress party today staged a protest outside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in New Delhi, continuing their ongoing agitation against the power and water crisis in the city.
A protester blamed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government for the crisis saying, "Since the BJP government has come into power, the people are not getting proper water and electricity supply. The poor can't afford inverter or generator. Narendra Modi is responsible for it so we want the BJP to fall."
They also said that the previous government was better at least they were providing proper water and electricity supply to people.
The protest also took place at Delhi's Ghonda Chowk besides Pandit Pant Marg where the BJP headquarter is located.
Congress' Arvinder Singh Lovely said "Instead of solving the problem of power and water crisis in Delhi, the BJP government is just blaming the previous ruling government."
Earlier, he had also talked about not stopping the protest till the people of Delhi don't get relief from power and water crisis.
