Cricket Australia has apologised for tweeting an image of England spinner Monty Panesar with four bearded men wearing turbans.
CA posted the picture, taken from Instagram, on its official Twitter account late on Thursday morning, day one of the second Ashes Test in Adelaide.
The pictures also had a caption reading: Will the real Monty Panesar please stand up.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the men were dressed in bright purple, red, green and yellow clothes.
The four depicted children's TV characters the Teletubbies and originated from here.
The tweet sparked claims of racism and CA promptly deleted the post after apologising for it.
