Each year, the month of June is dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer) community.
The month is assumed to honour the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan. The Stonewall riots were a series of spontaneous, violent demonstrations by members of the gay community against a police raid that took place in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969, at the Stonewall Inn in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.
While members of the community came forward to show their support to the community, some very good dogs also got into the spirit of the Pride.
Here are some of the most adorable tweets shared by dog owners:
One user from Jersey tweeted, "My dog Neko from Jersey pride!"
A Seattle Twitterer posted, "Happy Pride, Seattle!"
