Delhi's Patiala House Court on Monday granted bail to former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh's son Vikramaditya in connection with the Disproportionate Assets (DA) case.
Vikramaditya was granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. The court has further listed the matter for hearing on September 19.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) in July filed a supplementary charge sheet against Vikramaditya in the case.
Earlier in February, the ED filed a supplementary charge sheet against Virbhadra, his wife, Universal Apple Associate owner Chunni Lal Chauhan, Life Insurance Corporation agent Anand Chauhan and two other co-accused Prem Raj and Lawan Kumar Roach in the matter.
Virbhadra is accused of allegedly amassing assets worth Rs 6.1 crore disproportionate to his total income while he was serving as the union minister between 2009 and 2011.
