Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group's chairman Wang Jianlin called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the national capital on Tuesday.
The two shook hands and exchanged pleasantries before discussing matters of mutual interest.
During Prime Minister Modi's trip to China, top business leaders from Dalian had invited Indian IT and BPO companies to seek business opportunities in the coastal city.
"India is famous for the IT and BPO industries and in this way the city of Dalian and India has lot of scope for cooperation in this field. We welcome Indian companies to seek business opportunities in
Dalian," one of the industrialists had said.
