Daniele Watts was recently mistreated by LAPD when she denied to provide her identity after being mistaken for a prostitute, and she has now opened up on why she didn't cooperate with the officers.

In a story, the 'Django Unchained' actress penned for the Orlando Sentinel, she explained that this wasn't her first bad experience with the law, recalling that when she was 16, she had a similar experience while her father drove her back from school, when they were stopped and questioned by an officer for no reason, the New York Daily News reported.

The actress, wrote that "some experiences stay with us," and she since late spring, she had experienced four troubling stops by law enforcement.

Watts, who was detained by police after Studio City residents called authorities and complained about of "indecent exposure" after she was making out with her boyfriend, Brian Lucas, mentioned that what people thought was wrong, as though they were making out, they weren't having sex, and had their clothes on.

Watts went on say that even as though of African origin, she had rights, and she would have turned her back on the efforts of all those who had struggled and the 16-year-old version of her who had watched her father being treated unfairly, if she had handed over her ID.
