Dark Horse announces Invisible Kingdom

Dark Horses Comics and Berger Books are coming up with a new sci-fi comic 'Invisible Kingdom'.

The new comic series, will see G. Willow Wilson -- co-creator of Ms. Marvel -- collaborating with Christian Ward, best known for his 'Black Bolt' series.

According to a report by Hollywood Reporter, Invisible Kingdom is a story of two women in a far-off galaxy, one a fighter pilot and the other a religious acolyte, together uncovering a conspiracy connecting the galaxy's dominant religion and corporation.

Talking about working with her mentor and iconic comic editor Karen Berger, who earlier edited her first comic project, Wilson said, "It's a delight to be working with my mentor Karen Berger once again, especially on such an exciting project."

Sharing her experience on working with Christian Ward, Wilson further said, "Christian Ward's art is truly visionary - this is one of the most dynamic collaborations I've ever been involved with. I can't wait to show the world what we've cooked up."

The series will see Christian Ward coming back to creator-owned work.
