Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker film rivalry named most memorable of all time

The enmity between famous fictional father-son duo Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker has been named the most memorable in a poll of film fans.

According to the survey, which was done on 1,110 film fans, 22 per cent of the votes went to the arch rivals in the 'Star Wars' saga, Metro.co.uk reported.

LoveFilm's poll put the rivalry between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort in the second place with 20 per cent votes, while Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty came third, fetching 10 per cent of the votes.

Batman and Joker's feud from the 1989 Tim Burton flick received 8 percent and the tiff between Dorothy and the wicked witch of the west from the 'Wizard of Oz' garnered 7 percent of votes, finishing fifth on the list.
