The Rajasthan State Election Commission on Tuesday declared dates for election to 46 civic bodies.
Polling for six municipal corporations spread over in the cities of Jaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota and Bharatpur, will be held on 22nd November. Along with that 18 Municipal councils and 22 municipalities will also be conducted on the same day.
Announcing the polling dates, Rajasthan State Election Commissioner Ram Lubhaya said that 63 lakh nine thousand nine voters will elect their representatives for 1,696 wards and that all arrangements have been made to ensure free and fair polls.
Counting will be done on November 25 and on November 26 elected ward members will elect the heads of civic bodies.
