David Walliams splits from model wife Lara Stone after 5 yrs of marriage

David Walliams and Lara Stone have reportedly called it quits after almost five years of marriage.

A source said that the 43-year-old TV talent judge has been putting on a brave face, but people close to him are very worried because they know he's devastated after his 31-year-old wife asked for a trial separation, Stuff.co.nz reported.

As per the reports, the Calvin Klein beauty moved out of the couple's London home recently, taking their 21-month-old son Alfred and dog Bert with her.

The source added that everyone thought the marriage was strong and Walliams is used to hiding his emotions with comedy because that's what he's always done, but on the inside it is a real wrench.

The insider added that Walliams, who is still fiercely protective of Stone, hopes it is a blip and that they can get the marriage back on track somehow, especially seeing as there is a child involved.

The duo got married in a star-studded ceremony at Claridge's Hotel in London in May 2010.
