South African opener Quinton De Kock has reportedly vowed that his team will go for a 'killing' 4-1 win over Pakistan in the fifth and final one-day in Sharjah on Monday.

The young batsman smashed his maiden hundred to help his team beat Pakistan by 28 runs in the fourth ODI in Abu Dhabi on Friday, taking an unassailable 3-1 lead.

According to Sport24, the left-handed batsman said that his team would go for the kill in the final ODI against Pakistan, adding that their main goal is to achieve a 4-1 in the ODI series.

Stating his innings of 135-ball 112 was more pleasing as it helped his team win, De Kock also said that his hard work paid off after a disappointing one-day series in Sri Lanka in July this year, adding that he did a lot of analysis and technical work to improve his form, which worked well while facing Pakistani spinners.

De Kock who had scores of 20, 8 and 27 in Sri Lanka, replaced injured Test skipper Graeme Smith in the fourth match and instantly made his mark with a 40 in the third match, which South Africa won by 68 runs, the report added.
