At least 107 people have been confirmed dead in the powerful earthquake that severely hit central Philippine provinces of Bohol and Cebu, the country's disaster relief agency has said.
Rey Balido, operation officer and spokesman of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, told reporters that 91 of the fatalities were from the worst-hit province of Bohol, while Cebu had nine deaths and Siquijor had one.
Balido said the number of injured climbed to 276 people. Three are reported missing.
