The death toll in a suicide bombing attack in Afghanistan's Green Zone on Tuesday has mounted to nine.
Tolo News quoted hospital officials as saying that at least nine people were killed and 21 others were injured.
An explosion ripped through Kabul's Wazir Akbar Khan area, where many foreign embassies and government departments are based.
According to various reports, there was no immediate confirmation about the cause of the explosion.
The security forces immediately cordoned off the area and ambulances were seen rushing the injured to nearby hospitals.
No group has claimed the responsibility for the attack so far.
