Director Rob Schrab is all set to make his feature directorial debut with the sequel of Warner Bros' 'The LEGO Movie', it has been reported.
Schrab has earlier helmed TV serials namely 'Community', 'Parks And Recreation' and 'The Mindy Project' and the sequel will be the first big job for the helmer, Deadline.com reported.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who directed the first installment, are writing and will produce the sequel together with Dan Lin and Roy Lee.
Lord and Miller said that they were so excited to collaborate with Schrab as he was a comedy genius, a visual savant, and they have been stalking him for years.
'The LEGO Movie' had made almost 470 million dollars since its February 2014 release.
Schrab's comedy credits include writing, directing and executive producing Comedy Central's 'The Sarah Silverman Program', which earned him a WGA Award nomination and he also has a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for writing on the 81st Oscars.
