Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday held a public rally in New Delhi's Karawal Nagar.
At the rally, Kejriwal addressed issues that the Aam Aadmi Party has taken up in the two months of its emergence into power. He also made claims regarding regulating unauthorised colonies in the capital.
"We had promised that we will reduce electricity bills by half, we have fulfilled this promise," said Kejriwal, reaffirming from the public whether the promise had been fulfilled.
"We said that we will make Delhi corruption free, we have launched anti-corruption helpline numbers," he added.
"You won't face water scarcity in Delhi these summers; we will regularize unauthorized colonies in Delhi and will provide permanent housing to slum dwellers," he said.
Talking about 'big media houses', Kejriwal accused them of 'going after' him and appealed to the public to 'not believe what they see'. "They (media houses) are doing their duty, we (AAP) are doing ours," he said.
The Delhi Chief Minister also told the public about his meet with distressed farmers at Bawana district of Delhi that took place on Saturday.
