A Delhi Court on Saturday reserved its order on the judicial custody and bail application of AAP MLA Commando Surinder Singh, who was yesterday arrested for assaulting an NDMC worker.
The development came after Surinder was produced before Metropolitan Magistrate Gomati Manocha at the Patiala House Court.
His lawyer, Virender Singh Kadian, told ANI, "We'll apply for the bail."
The AAP workers had yesterday staged a protest outside the Parliament Street Police Station, where Surinder Singh was confined after his arrest.
Singh was booked for allegedly assaulting an NDMC worker and making derogatory remarks against him.
